Unfortunately, all controversies can’t be avoided.  Therefore, situations will need to be managed.  Diffusing situations that are out of control and need to be organized and calmed requires a unified, team approach for addressing each issue that arises.  Further, goals and objectives need to be identified so that all involved are moving in a common direction.  For example, if there is a high profile patient care matter confronting the parties, acceptable outcomes need to be identified; pathways to attaining those outcomes need to identified; and communication streams need to be established.  Due to our history of assisting clients confronting such situations, we provide advice about the management of such situations that will minimize the disruption to ongoing patient care activities and maintain an appropriate public image.
